Issaquah Community Emergency Response Team (CERT)

The CERT program educates community members like you how to prepare and respond when a major event happens by training people in basic disaster preparedness and response skills to take care of themselves, their family, their neighborhood, and the community.

Registration for the 2025 Spring CERT training is now open and will have two options. 

The first option is a four-week course with two units each week on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. This course will start on March 18 and will be at Issaquah Public Works Operations (PWO). The final disaster simulation will be on April 12, also at PWO. To register or for more information on the four-week course, click here.

The second option is an eight-week course with one unit each week on Sunday evenings. This course will start on February 23 and will be at Blakely Hall in the Issaquah Highlands. The final disaster simulation will be on April 12 at Public Works Operations together with those choosing the four-week option. A Next Steps class will be held for those who would like to become more involved on Tuesday, April 22.
