Issaquah CERT is committed to protecting your privacy. This privacy statement explains data collection and use practices of the issaquahcert.org web site. By accessing this site, you are consenting to the information collection and use practices described in this privacy statement. It is the policy of Issaquah CERT to enable our community and members to be informed of opportunities and activities that may be of interest to them, without propagating their details to information or lists that could be abused or sold to third parties.

Information Collection And Use

We have structured our web site so that you can visit it without identifying yourself or revealing any personal information. We gather date, time, location, and browser type of all visitors to our web site. This information does not contain anything that can identify users personally. We use this information for trend analysis and to gather broad demographic information about our user base. Issaquah CERT uses forms to collect information from our members, persons registering for events, and web site users. We do not exchange or rent email addresses to third parties. In general, we respect users' privacy and do not share personally identifiable information with other companies or organizations. When completing the CERT class, you become a member.  Members are required to provide us with basic contact information so we can notify them about CERT events, opportunities, and send them the newsletter. You opt out of any communications or ask to be removed from our database my contacting webmaster@issaquahcert.org

Service Providers

We use a third party to provide credit card processing on our site. When you pay program registration fees online, we pass your name to the third party to provide that service.

Cookies, Web Beacons

We do not use cookies or beacons (also called Web bugs or Clear GIFs) on this site.

Security

We take reasonable precautions to protect our contact and members' personal information and to store it securely. Access to all of our contact and members' information is restricted. Only agents of Issaquah CERT who need the information to perform a specific job (e.g. webmaster, treasurer or trainer) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The servers on which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.

Protection of Children's Personal Information

Issaquahcert.org is a general audience site and does not knowingly collect any personal information from children.

Issaquahcert.org contains links to other sites. Issaquah CERT is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of such other sites. We encourage our users to be aware when they leave our site and to read the privacy statements of each web site to which we may link that may collect personally identifiable information.
