East Metro Group (EMG)* is hosting this Mass Casualty Incident (MCI) drill which will be focused on scenes of violence (active shooter).  The drill is designed to be as realistic as possible so that the first responders can practice using their special skills and expertise.  Note that individuals with histories of exposure to extreme traumatic stressors should not participate.  EMG will have police, fire, and paramedics on the scene, as well as a trained therapy dog.

EMG is looking for 100 volunteers (not at the same time; there are different days/times; twenty maximum per day) to participate as survivors on May 28, 30, June 4, 5, and 7.  There are three time slots on each day, 9 AM to 11 AM, 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM, and 2 PM to 4 PM.  Lunches will be provided to those who participate all day.

This is an excellent opportunity to witness and understand how our first responders perform in these situations, and it is a great learning experience for volunteers and emergency management professionals as well.

Location: 12635 SE 56th St, Bellevue. Also please be advised the suggested arrival time is always 30 min prior to the start time to allow for moulage and makeup.
