CDCCC Spring 2026 Drill May 16th

  • 05/16/2026
  • 8:00 AM - 1:30 PM
  • Carnation - Tolt Middle School

Carnation/Duvall CERTs will have their annual Spring Drill on Saturday morning, May 16 and Issaquah CERTs have been invited to attend.  The exercise will involve CERT and radio communication skills (GMRS and ham) and will mimic a "real situation" where the drill begins at your house at 8:00 AM Saturday morning.  You would then gather your PPE and appropriate gear (medical supplies, radio, etc.) and proceed to a location (e.g., Tolt Middle School in Carnation) for instructions.  The exercise will run to approximately 1:30 PM.

This is a good opportunity for our new Issaquah CERTs to see how other jurisdictions handle their disaster simulations and possibly renew acquaintances with some of the CDCCC CERTs from our final drills.  Experience indicates you will learn a lot about what's in your backpack and other things you may not have considered.

If this sounds like something you would like to try, you can reserve a spot at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/cdccc-spring-drill-2026-tickets-1988688022409.  As always, if you have questions, check with Jennifer Hargrove or Bob Otis.
